How can I make the world a little more comfortable.

Loving the unlovable…

Posts, comments, suggestions regarding street people.  My goal on this page is to discuss “What can I do?” Things like;

  • What can I do?
  • Should I be afraid?
  • What is an Addict?
  • WHERE can I go to help?
  • WHAT can I do?
  • WHO can I help?
  • WHY do I make excuses?
  • and most importantly, “What can I do.”

Love,

1OR

    ~Don’t overlook street people.
    ~Don’t look through them.
    ~Don’t forget about them.
~Don’t judge, for they too are lambs of God.
~Street people are dependent on our hospitality and grace.
~When we serve people we also serve our Lord.
~”Then maybe Jesus will whisper to us on the day of judgement, “When I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink.” -Jesus for President (Claiborne/Haw)

Jesus, overhearing, shot back, “Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? Go figure out what this Scripture means: ‘I’m after mercy, not religion.’ I’m here to invite outsiders, not coddle insiders.” matthew 9:12-13 (the message)

On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” matthew 9:12-13 (niv)

Loving the unlovable is a misnomer, for God loves everyone. Everyone on this plant deserves love. We are called to love God, ourselves, and others.
